Let me start by saying that we have not yet used it for its intended purpose, just installed it on deck to make sure all the parts are in order. Out of the box it didn't look like new as there was various dog hair on the tarpaulin, the poles had either been poorly painted or used in the past. There were also no rubber bands that normally go on the poles when you first receive a tent or tarp, but this product turned out to be so old or stored in conditions so hot that it melted, disintegrated or it actually wasn't a new thing. None of these points affected the setup of the tent, so no star deduction for that. I decided not to give this one 4 or 5 stars because without the pins4ever YouTube video we wouldn't know how to pitch a tent. . The instructions are sewn into the carry case and you might think "Great, now I can't lose this” but it's so small that you can't figure out the letter and number combination for the pole or which combination should be installed first. I have my doubts about the durability of the tent after initial setup for the following reasons: 1) The steel poles use a spring instead of a rubber cord and when the poles are folded the spring deforms around the pole - a poor design choice. 2) The sewn-in anchoring points for plastic rod holders (in the roof) are subject to enormous stress. We bought this tent because we had a competitor tent (K@!#y) that had similar plastic pole holders and lasted over 20 years. The stitched construction points are unlikely to hold onto this tent as you have to do your best to stretch the plastic and bend the pole to get a good fit. 3) There are such big pinholes in the seams that we now have to caulk the tent - I know - we don't sleep in it - but we want our toilet to stay dry during the storm. I'll be back. and update this review at the end of the summer - I hope this tent will become a reliable partner.

Pros
