It really is 4 inches long but has a 1.5 to 2 inch tail that could not be attached with a locking mechanism making the product closer to 2 inches considered . Because of this, they break easily and require several pieces fastened together to reach any desired length. want someone to say what they think of the product. I'm reporting them to Amazon right now, but this is absolutely ridiculous.
