We have tried several cheap sets in the past and they are usually made from incredibly thin metal. In the latest cheap set the towel bar ring was actually slightly bent and trying to straighten it out resulted in the metal bending and actually ruining it. The Delta hardware seems a lot better than the cheaper kits you can find. The metal is actually thicker and weighs 2-3 times more than a light and inexpensive set. Also, and probably most importantly, the Delta fairing looks very nice. Cheap hardware kits often come with inferior colors or finishes that look cheap overall. Very happy with the Delta and although we got this one for review I will be buying the Delta to match the rest of the house.
