Review on WearTek X18PRO: IPX8 Waterproof Bone Conduction Headphones for Swimming with 8GB Memory, Magnetic Fast Charging, Bluetooth 5.0 - Open-Ear Sports Headphones (Black) by Profit Gilley

Pleasantly surprised - comfortable and pleasant sound!

I'm very sensitive to uncomfortable headphones and I really don't like putting headphones in or over my ear, so I've been using bone conduction headphones for a while. I have BC kits that are good for running and quite comfortable, but they aren't designed for swimming and don't have internal storage so I always have to carry a separate device to play music. X18PRO meets these additional requirements. My head is larger than normal for a man and I have enough room to move my head (an extra strap is provided for extra sizing). The strap is flat which allows for more comfortable interaction with the back of the head. The conductors make good contact with my head (not too tight or loose) and sounded really good, with impressive clarity and surprisingly good bass for a BC set. Just make sure the strip on the back is oriented slightly downwards as in the images above, otherwise the conductors may not lay flat. Nice and round conductors help distribute pressure for longer-lasting comfort. This set worked great with my glasses which is very important to me. Battery life was between 6.5 and 7 hours depending on how loud I set it. I usually charge every 2-3 days. Minor details. The controls are well placed on the right hand side so I didn't have any accidental clicks - this is important as things are more difficult to control during a workout. Transferring MP3 audio was very easy. Simply use the included magnetic charger, connect it to your computer and transfer your files to the folder associated with the headset. Remember that the set starts in MP3 mode. Press the power button twice to switch between MP3 and Bluetooth mode. I have used the set while swimming and had no problems. works as intended. If you are interested in multifunctional BC headphones and you are on a budget of $100, I recommend you try them.
