This was a repeat order. I've been using ratchet straps since I first found them in 2013. This strap is for use with ratchet buckles only. Ratchet buckles allow you to adjust the length of the belt while wearing it. While the buckle doesn't wear out, part of the belt does wear out. Replacing the old belt with a new one takes a few seconds. I noticed that the current belts have a new feature: the belt now has markings that indicate where to cut in order to shorten the belt to match the pants. This is useful.
