It took me 40 minutes to bind! It's similar to tying a shoelace, but more difficult because it's not a shoelace. Even if you have it in the mirror you will be very confused. Just come closer, then stop looking in the mirror and tie your shoelaces around your neck. Then line it up in the mirror. Also, a bonus tip: don't set it to your neck size initially, but set it to the largest size until you get a feel for how to tie it.
