These folding crates have been the solution to organizing my various hobby items. I do a wide range of handcrafts, sewing and collecting. These attractive crates, (10 1/2 x 10 1/2 x 101/2 inches) fit nicely on a book case or closet shelf, keeping all sorts of bits and pieces together and in order. They fold up easily when not in use, it is easy to store them out of the way, unlike bulky plastic bins. I use them for handwork supplies, fabric, yarn, doll clothes (my dolls have way too many shoes) etc. I will note that these crates are not suited for heavy items, as they are of light, fabric and "paste board" type construction. So, they are great for clothing items, fabric, hats, etc. but won't work for mechanic tools or a rock collection. But, that being said, they have held up well under daily use and the light weight makes them easy to carry from closet to work table, etc.
