Make sure your machine fits

I bought this cover because the description said my brother would fit. To be safe I contacted the seller who about a week later said he only had the information I was able to gather after researching on the internet. I should have worried that the seller didn't know more about the contents of the box than I did, but I ordered anyway. The machine came sealed in the factory packaging and rattled. The box was stable and undamaged. I opened it up and found that the only packaging was three air-filled plastic packaging bubbles. When I lifted the case by the handle, I found that one side was not latched, making it awkward but not time-consuming to pull out. The rattle turned out to be a plastic shelf, which I believe is mounted inside the case, but I never got far enough to figure it out. However, this should be taken for granted as there is no printed manual. The case was intact, so I tried to put my car in it. The base of the machine is 15 inches long and about 6 inches wide at the bottom. Unfortunately, the internal length of the case is 14.5 inches, so the machine will not fit. The maximum width within the base is 6.75 inches due to the inward protrusions. I assume there is a divider at one end to store the pedal and other accessories. It is 2 7/8 inches long and 7.5 inches wide. By my definition, this case isn't "luxury", but it feels exactly how I envisioned it: lightweight yet durable enough for home storage. I would call it utilitarian. brown when it counts. I'm giving it a 3 because the manufacturer is just lazy about packing the loose parts in the case and they are too dumb to give us the actual internal measurements so we know if our machine will fit before we buy it. The price is what I'm willing to pay for something like this. P60214 Deluxe Portable Flatbed Case
