Difficult to assemble / Gorilla glue recommended for extra reinforcement

This piece of furniture (like most budget items) is made in Thailand. I was surprised that it was made out of real wood and not compressed fibers and glue. Assembly was easy, but the parts fit very tightly. The alignment of the parts is slightly shifted by one to two millimeters, which is not noticeable at first glance. When tightening the screws with the included hex wrench, you will see a "structural failure". I'm inclined to think this was done on purpose to ensure everything is pressure bolted together as tightly as possible to ensure the strength and durability of the product. I read all reviews before purchasing. When I was assembling, one user suggested using a cement based glue as there weren't enough screws. I've used Gorilla Glue in every area I see including those held together with bolts and screws. The rack seems to be a lot heavier than the previous wood and metal blocks I've had. Love it although I have to agree with some other reviewers that it feels a bit homey. In truth, practicality and durability win over aesthetics. The color matches the rest of the furniture though, hehehe.
