I love fans. I don't know why, but the first thing I did when I moved into my house was install ceiling fans. Also, I have other fans. These small battery operated fans are great for camping, car or home use. Just the air movement makes me feel better. This particular fan is a bladeless rechargeable fan. It comes with a charging cable and a wall wart, which is nice. However, it also requires a standard USB-C cable in case you lose the one that comes with it. It's very quiet, not quiet, but quiet. It's not entirely bladeless, there's a fan, but it "sucks in" the air on the sides and then pushes it out through the slots in the top part. So you don't see the blades, but you hear them (not loud, but not quiet either). There is also a scientific principle that the blown air should create a vacuum that fills in other air, pulls the air out from behind the fan, and "blows out" from the front. It is difficult to say whether this is really the case. This is the F6-B model, which is different from the F6 or F6-A model, but maybe to save money they just put together an instruction manual. So I'll admit I spent too much time trying to figure out how a micro humidifier works only to end up realizing it's just a feature of the F6-A. I don't want to offend, but seriously, collect a small instruction manual for each fan, don't try to put 3 models together in one brochure. It suits me very well. He will be traveling with me as I also take a fan with me when I travel. It is small and after charging, it works for a long time. It has a fairly bright indicator light that lights up when it's on, but if I find it getting in the way while I'm sleeping I can certainly cover it up with a piece of duct tape. It's very quiet, looks well made, creates a nice breeze and should last a long time.
