Finding a bright LED that actually produces the equivalent of 100W has been a challenge. I don't have to search anymore as these lights are perfect. They're so bright I'll probably have to use a dimmer! I only received them today so I can't comment on the durability but I can say I plan on using the bulbs 8-9 hours a day to light up my home office. The bulbs are rated for 3 hours of daily use so I'm sure I'll burn them out quickly, which is fine because they'll do the job for me.
