I usually trust Teva's to design a practical product and flip flops should be safe to wear around the beach right? But these shoes with a very slippery surface will cause the foot to slide off the shoe surface when wet. This is madness. and i would say painful as the foot slides into the webs and also slides onto the floor. They should have a rough surface, like normal shoes. I would never buy them again and now I know better. Too bad, because otherwise they are fine. oh, I also don't like the molded rubber part, which makes me lose my balance a bit. If I wanted that kind of shoe support, I could buy orthotics. not for me. Buyer beware.
