Not happy with this brace

Last week my doctor got a similar Darco brace to wear prior to scheduled foot surgery. The outer side brace refuses to stay in and pops out after I take three or four steps. When he jumps out I always know because he bites my leg. I've tried using an orthosis without spacers, but then the orthosis doesn't give me the support I need.

Bungee closure provides excellent compression and allows for one handed adjustment while walking
