This lock is very nice when assembled. The problem lies in the assembly. Firstly, there is no detailed manual in the box, only 6 photos during operation on the back. It is difficult for a child to look at small pictures and determine where all 163 pieces went. The pieces should interlock with small protrusions and slots, like a 3D puzzle. These parts do not stay together. And any sticky bits that need to be glued to the shiny bits won't stick either. Instead of my 8 year old niece assembling it (the box says it's for ages 3 and up), I had to do most of it with a lot of work and a hot glue gun. I'm a handyman, so I'm not new to assembling things. I would
