Good bed. The outer shell is pretty thin, I'm not sure how well it will stand up to an aggressive digger. The cover can be easily removed and thrown in the washing machine. The inner padding has a waterproof coating that appears to be quite durable. My cockatoo *want* to like it, but with arthritis and weak hind legs, he's having a really hard time - that's quite a big step forward. If you are interested in this bed for the orthopedic support, this is definitely something you should consider. For reference - Jack is 34#, his back is 21" and he is 17" tall - he fits very well in a "big" bed.
