This suit is see through when wet. Luckily my daughter was wearing a swim diaper when we put her on for swimming lessons. When the diaper got wet, the patterns on the diaper were clearly seen through her buttocks. The costume is cute but becomes see-through when wet. I didn't notice that the top was transparent, but the bottom was noticeable. 4 stars because the costume is still very cute and as long as she's wearing a swim diaper underneath it doesn't really matter. Also because it was really great to work with the company regarding any issues I had with their product.
