Review on Camaflexi C213_TR Day Twin White by Ashley Chaney

It was almost impossible to find a local shop that sold a lounger like this. I spent a lot of time browsing all the furniture websites and reading reviews. I needed something with no high sides, white and something that could support adult weight. I wanted decent quality and this seemed to fit the bill. The only negative reviews I read were about the smell so I took a chance and was not disappointed. The bed came in three boxes and was well packed. There was no shipping damage, although the boxes were quite dented. The instructions were easy to follow. The wood dowels didn't fit snugly as one of the reviewers mentioned, but I used some wood glue to make this more durable. In hindsight I don't think glue is necessary as the dowels seem to act as guides and it's the anchor bolts that really hold this thing together. I recommend an adjustable clutch drill to tighten the bolts and then use the included hand wrench to tighten everything. The same with the screws on the slats. Line them up and drill. Just make sure the drill's clutch is loose so you don't strip the screws. The furniture looks great and is solid as I had hoped. It'll easily support my 200-pound weight, but it won't flop down on it like it would on a couch or I think I'll end up breaking the pine support slats under the bed. If you weigh more than my 200 pounds I don't see why you can't cut out some plywood to use in place of the wooden planks. The bed frame is solid and the lacquered finish looks great and is not a flimsy cheap finish. This is the thick white finish you would expect from a quality piece of furniture. There was some "smell" from first unpacking and installing which I believe is weathering of the new paint. It didn't bother me but my wife commented. It's been gone for the past few weeks and I've compared it to "new car smell". We have used Revain Nod Tuft and Needle Twin Mattress and are very happy with the overall setup. I highly recommend this bed.
