This saved our sanity. Well worth the money and looks and sounds great! When we got custody of our grandchildren aged 4, 2.5 and 16 months, the two eldest had to turn on the TV to sleep. Every time a 2.5-year-old girl woke up when her bottle was almost empty and Paw Patrol wasn't on TV, she would cry, scream, or stand up. 4 year old had to sleep with someone and went to bed without Minecraft on YouTube. He was afraid of being alone in his bed. So for the first month, my dad and I took turns sleeping on the couch or in our bed with our grandson. Someone suggests a sonic machine. I bought two as they will sleep in different rooms. It was great because I could change the light to her favorite color. The 4 year old chose the sound of the water as he was on the beach. I first used it with a tv for a 2.5 year old and told her that's how it is when the tv turns off. Along with this sound machine, I presented a behavioral reward table. A 4-year-old had to sleep in his bed with a sound machine in his room, while a 16-month-old slept in his cot. In less than 2 weeks they both go to bed without a TV and stay in bed all night. My only complaint is that since I'm old I can't see small images and end up hitting the wrong button and having to go through all the tones and colors to get to the right place when I first turned it on.
