- Before this razor, there was a 3000 series. I did not notice any improvement in the quality of shaving. The replaceable trimmer is less convenient than the built-in trimmer on the 3000 series. It is necessary to hold it gently, since it is possible to accidentally press the on / off button, and in the 3000 series the button is recessed. The blades are further away from the edge than on the 3000 series, making it harder to shave hard to reach places like under the nose.
