I've been using these bags for over two years and in that time I've had a tear maybe once or twice. Sometimes I try to be frugal and buy non-branded products, but I'm never happy with it. I just donated a few non-branded ones and went back to these. And the whole nursery doesn't stink when I use this strain. Unbranded ones don't smell (especially if they tear down the side, as they often do).
