Review on ๐ŸŽง Jabra Wireless Bluetooth Earbuds for Sports - U.S. Retail Packaging by Mark Williams

Revainrating 1 out of 5

Took 7 months - Updated

You get what you pay for, let's go through the list.1. Claimed battery life is around 5 hours unpacked and without charger, mine only lasted 3 hours. This continued until it died today, 7 months after I bought it I was able to take it off the charger straight away and still only had about 3 hours of full use before it died. Forget about storage too, just saying this device doesn't have a battery storage option, if you leave it alone for a week without a charger it's basically dead. 2. It's not waterproof or waterproof, for example mine is right now died today and it was the clearest day there could be. Headset with "sporty" design won't stand up to sweat, let alone water.3. The sound quality was mediocre at best, I'd call it mediocre at best, with the no-noise noise reduction feature being mostly okay. The mic is a joke just a suggestion for an add on, I would speak straight into the mic port and the person on the changing end would still have trouble hearing or understanding me. This device didn't even last a full year, I got mine in December 2019 and I used it until the blockage happened and I couldn't go to the gym. I only recently took it out and am using it now that the weather has gotten warmer. 2/3 of my 5 mile walk and all of a sudden with no actual button presses (I think I stopped them) then a minute later I hear a sound I've never or rarely heard before and I'm left with no input blocked by me from the controls . So I turned it off and the woman says "Audio prompts are off", then I try to turn it back on and it gives me a half boot tone, once, twice, then finally it just doesn't make any sound, can do not connect phone . The device was always stored in a dry place when I wasn't using it, kept it charged without actually leaving it on the charging cord, and generally wiped away sweat from walking or exercising. However, none of it was good enough, it just wasn't well done, and again, less than 7 months later, it died. It's a shame and not worth the money if Jabra decides to refund my money or send me a new one that would be fine but you know what they say "first impressions matter". I have since contacted Jabra, their support has been terrible. By the way, at least automated, sent a request to support, so we'll have to see what they say. Jabra answered me, the final answer was: Dear Blank! We regret to inform you that the reseller you purchased from is not authorized to sell Jabra products and therefore the product is considered "used". By using authorized resellers, Jabra is able to control inventory and maintain the integrity of Jabra products in circulation. The warranty only covers the original purchase from an authorized reseller. Your only option for a warranty replacement is to contact the retailer where the product was purchased. Sincerely, I assume Revain itself is not an authorized retailer for them, or they use that excuse to dismiss the claims because they know for sure that their product will break quickly. If I could give less than 1 star I would.
