Heat Resistant!: Dishes & Serving Utensils

finally! Someone understands how to make a carafe! Here's why I love this one: - It's not plastic. It's already better than the standard Rubbermaid version! Now you can brew iced tea right in the carafe you keep it in. This is borosilicate glass that can withstand high temperatures. It's borosilicate! heavy things. Not your standard beautiful glass carafe to worry about. I have a feeling that carafes are either some kind of plastic or nice glass that's too thin to stand up to heavy use...it's not too heavy, not as thick as pyrex, which is nice. - Easy to pour. It's not too heavy and has a nice, sturdy handle. It has a spout that not all decanters have (why?). It has a lid with an inspection hole! - Easy to store - It has a lid! And it's not that tall so you can easily store it in the fridge or on a cupboard shelf when not in use (thanks!) - Attractive. Thank goodness it's not some old-fashioned frosted glass. It doesn't have bright frosty patterns... it's modern and clean. - Easy to clean. Although it tapers towards the top, it is neither too tall nor too narrow for easy cleaning from the inside. - Cheap. I didn't pay for it but the price is very affordable for what it is. This is an attractive and practical item that looks great in a casual or formal setting. good size From this amount you can get 4-6 decent lemonades. That's 88 ounces and 6 sodas of 12 ounces = 72 ounces.
