I pay attention to the quality and texture of the paper; I don't like plain cardboard (it always seems cheap to me). These cards look great and have the right external texture. However, the inside of the card is smooth. It doesn't bother me too much. This is a good enough surface for the pens I use (Uni-bal 207l Signo RT 38mm microneedle). This is a good buy for the money and I like the inside of the envelopes even though they are VERY light weight paper. The "thank you" is printed on the gold foil (or is it very lightly embossed? lightly embossed but the print does not transfer to the other side of the paper). Looks the same as in the picture.
