I love Lock & Lock and started buying this brand about 2 years ago when my daughter started primary school. For a few days I've been looking for a container that's good, strong, but EASY to open for a preschooler! Lock and Lock is very easy for small children to open and keeps food well locked. This particular container is similar to a bento box but has 4 removable "squares" that fit in the same box. I use these squares for things like carrots, apples, cheese and either a small sandwich that cuts into squares or I make a pizza muffin that fits in a square. Then my daughter can open this box and she has four meal options in one place. If you buy a lock and a lock with removable squares, they can run into each other if that makes sense. That's why I never put ranch dressing in it, for example, because if the whole container tips over, the ranch dressing can seep into the carrot crate. In any case, I have several different types of lock and lock containers, all for different things. Used. I love her!
