Colored sleeves protect your DVD/CD from scratches. The brightly colored cases allow for color coding and prevent you from confusing your porn collection with tax returns and financial statements. They are the right size and do not tolerate chatter. The folks at Maxell seem to be aware of this stuff and tested it on this guy sitting in the chair with his hair tied back due to the fidelity of the music track. They fire these grenades from an airgun like they're shooting stock car racing shirts, right at this poor guy, and then they check the disks in the grenades and there's practically no damage to the shell or the disk, but the man has suffered multiple concussions and is considering filing a lawsuit or finding another job. this does not detract from the outstanding quality of these paper sleeves, which were once mighty trees but are now only humble sleeves and still do a handsome if tedious job. I would recommend them to anyone who appreciates and needs colorful cases to house this misunderstood and almost abandoned medium that was once greeted with pomp and approval and is now slowly fading into obscurity.
