Fits 4th Generation Ford Explorer. Now those lights are so bright they're probably distracting other people. When I first installed them it was daytime and I could see the light on my license plate in direct sunlight. Now they are brighter than my backup lights at night and so bright that when I look in my rear view mirror I can see the road behind me as if it were day. Under no circumstances are they left untouched in the open air. My modification was to put in a 330 ohm resistor to reduce the brightness. As a result, the light output was probably reduced by a little more than half. Now it doesn't bother me or other drivers at night, but it still does the job. You can also mask most of the light with tape (or paint it black) to reduce the intensity of the light. In general they look good quality and after modifying them I am satisfied.
