I bought this because of the great price, I have an ozone purifier I got 10 years ago and paid over 300 for it (I got it at cost, retail ended up 600) and am very happy with it so far. At first I was disappointed because I thought it would be a marriage. You press the power button, nothing happens. I'm assuming this is a security feature, you have to long press the power button to turn it on and off. Nothing of the sort was mentioned in the instructions, I hope it was helpful
