Works well and seems well built. I am using this as an independent volume control on a Firehouse radio surveillance system. Max output is 18 watts from the radio, which is less than half the power of the L-PAD, so I can't say I'm pushing it heavily, but it definitely handles that power well. Being almost a set-and-forget app, I don't see any problems with the unit due to wear and tear, and since the radio has a low audio output duty cycle and receives relatively short transmissions at times, I don't worry no worries about heating up. So overall it seems like the perfect device to me.
