First of all I bought this lighting set for one reason only. I'm tired of looking at lamplight reflections on the TV screen. So I bought it thinking it would be the solution. It was. Ever was. The backlight is enough to illuminate the wall behind the screen and make the screen easier to view, even when the image changes from bright to dark. And you can change the backlight color to suit your mood or the show you're watching. I have to say it's pretty cool to watch your team play with their colored lights on the wall. The second, unexpected benefit was that reducing eye strain helped relieve headaches. My wife and I both mentioned using a backlight on the first night. Now I need to make a TV playroom. I will definitely be buying another of these kits and might end up doing the underside of the computer desk as well. I highly recommend this product as it more than meets the requirements and is easy to install.
