Pretty decent for the price

From the photos it looks a bit thinner and smoother than I expected which was a factor considering I have small hands. However, it's still reasonably comfortable to use even with one hand (albeit with some effort if you're trying to reach the opposite side with your thumb). My biggest criticism is the side buttons. While the case itself is fairly snug and doesn't wobble in any way, the volume buttons are a bit poorly designed and don't have any internal cutouts where they rest. This results in a slight protrusion where the buttons are located, which is barely noticeable during use but makes the buttons fairly responsive. It also lacks the crisp "click" that the phone has even without the case, and I've found myself accidentally locking my phone or turning the volume up and down without meaning because the buttons are so sensitive. If you often have other things in your pocket (keys, airport case, wallet, etc.), it can zip more easily when you press the buttons, as I have experienced. The matte finish is nice and comfortable, but it's not. It's as velvety as Apple's signature silicone cases. It also picks up fingerprints easily if you have oily hands, albeit far less than the smooth glass back of the iPhone 8/SE 2nd Gen. It's also slightly transparent so you can still see the Apple logo through the case on the back of the phone phone can see. The sockets fit well in the case and fit well against it. Due to the small chamfers on the bumpers, the Popsocket sits on them pretty snugly. It looks very nice with a flat black aluminum body. Overall, a pretty good case for the price. It feels comfortable, fits well, and claims to have a lifetime warranty, which is really nice.
