Very versatile light

Over the last few years I've bought a lot of LED panels but none of them have been RGB, a few daylight panels and a lot of bicolor panels and I've resorted to gel lighting to use them as accent lighting use for videos and photos. But now I finally took the plunge and bought these GVM 50RS RGB panels to make things easier, and hell they always have been. First let me say that I was blown away by the weight of this package. The Revain driver pulled over while I was at the truck so I asked him to put it right in the back of my truck so I had no idea how heavy it was. Well I go back to the house (I live on the 2nd floor in the back) and I went to get the box and bring it to the house but I didn't know much but this thing weighed almost 40 pounds. So I brought it home and opened it up and it was as big as the box it was in. And inside was a very nice tote bag with all the goodies neatly packaged. Once I started removing the panels I realized why it weighs so much. These lanterns are built like tanks. The main body and bracket are all aluminum, the body has ribs on the back, the only plastic part is the barndoors, defusor blade and control interface. It includes 3 power supplies and 3 light to medium racks that appear to be of decent quality. The lights themselves are quite bright, around 45-50 watts, but the best part is the colors they can produce are beautiful. The colors are so deep and saturated, which is harder to achieve with gels. I feel like this level of versatility will really improve my game. Overall I am very happy with my new flashlight set and look forward to new GVM products in the future. Pros: Solid build quality Very rich colors Easy to use controls and phone app Convenient carrying case for all three lights Decent flashlight stands. Not some cheap coasters that barely hold the light. Cons: Heavy, but that's a side benefit of the solid build quality. But it works.
