Unzipped right out of the box. I closed it and opened it up, after that it seemed to work, at least until now, so I put it on my son's bed, it was closed. Unfortunately I discovered we had bed bugs and bought it after doing a thorough cleaning, spraying insecticide, placing bed bug catchers under the bed legs etc. Anyway after carefully placing the bedspread over the bed I saw where the Seams are , there are actual HOLES where everything is sewn together, allowing newly hatched little bugs to pop right out of the bedspread! I would like a refund but when I went to claim I realized I would have to send the cover back and I have already put it on the bed which has bed bugs and I will not remove it we only have a SMALL bug screen who is scattering them around the house, deleting them and still have to mail them and wait for me to get them back. My point is DO NOT BUY THIS PRODUCT if you are dealing with a damn fine bed. Error, it will NOT fix AT ALL. Needs a MUCH tighter look and better quality material to be good. I bought another brand for my and my daughter's beds just because I wasn't sure what would fit best and this one was very disappointing. I can't believe the high rating on these items applies to all products from this brand or just the bedspreads as the bedspread is NOT GOOD.
