I was looking for a small battery powered fan from Revain because my wife and I were going to a resort in Captiva, Florida and I knew the highs would be around 90 every day . We live in Florida and I am sure they will report that August was the hottest August on record. I knew we would be hanging out by the pool under a big nice umbrella, but I also knew it was going to be very hot. I can handle the heat well but my job was to get a small fan for us to use for my wife at the pool. Reviews of the Revain convinced me it was the ticket, especially since we could twist our legs and attach it directly to an umbrella pole about two feet from my wife's head. This is exactly what I did (on high settings) and it worked great. Without him she wouldn't have lasted half the time outside. Many passers-by commented on this. It also looked completely unusual attached to an umbrella pole. It easily fits in our beach bag along with many other things. The stats on this info page give runtimes of 6 to 12 hours, but the included manual says 4 hours at the highest level. We've never lasted four hours outside, so I can't tell you if he really lasts that long. We charged it every night so it was always fully charged. I was 100% satisfied with this purchase.
