Review on Equinox Professional Straight Edge Razor with 100 Derby Blades - 🪒 Close Shaving Men's Shaver Safety (Matte Black Razor w/ 100 Derby Premium Blades) by Kelly Frerking

I wanted to switch to razor shaving so I bought this Equinox and a cheap Gold Dollar fixed blade to practice sharpening and sharpening the blade. Equinox is a very good product for the price. Not flashy, not beautiful, but very functional. The only reason I'm giving 4 stars instead of 5 is that I had a small issue with the alignment of the part that holds the blades so it aligns with the scales and the edge of the blades every time you close the razor come into contact can be damaged if you are not careful. Obviously this is a quality control error, but it doesn't affect the quality of the shave. See attached photo for reference. In addition, the product has a very high value. You can get a close shave for $10. And you get 100 blades, which should last you a few years depending on how often you shave. For $10! And then when you run out of blades, instead of replacing replacement blades (which cost about $5 for 100) you can just buy a new razor with 100 new blades and get a brand new razor for only $5. Again, incredible price! I was thinking of getting a good German fixed blade straight razor, but having shaved with it I see no reason to spend more than $100 on a razor + another $100 on a fine stone and strap when you can use this one $10 razors can get a great shave.
