To be fair this is a pretty decent looking chair and seems to be well made. If after some use I find something different I will change my rating. My mediocre rating today after a day of ownership is due to the chair being so difficult to assemble it was causing me physical pain. Other buyers I think have mentioned this issue. It's NOT HARD to assemble, it's just physically difficult and requires strength in hands and arms, which I don't have much of anymore. The wheels don't lock, they need to be hammered. The connection of the backrest with the seat almost convinced me. I would swear the holes were drilled wrong. It took strength and leverage to use a screwdriver as a pry bar to line up the holes so the screws could be inserted. The armrests were a little less awkward, but still took quite an effort to get them back in place. If, like me, you're used to assembling Swedish ready-made furniture, this chair will surprise you in an unpleasant way. However, now that it is assembled and the ibuprofen is working, I am pleased with its appearance and apparent strength. TO UPDATE. I added one star to my previous three star rating because my arm pain is forgotten and the chair works very well. I'm a tall, heavy person and so far it's working really well. The wheels roll great. Really good chair for the money.
