These sandals are extremely comfortable. Unlike most sandals of this type, I have no problem wearing them for short walks (about a mile) and not just using them to walk around the garden or get mail. The cushioning really makes them more comfortable than several pairs of my shoes. The straps also hold the sandals well on the foot. The only real downside here is the fit of the sandal. I took a size larger than usual and the fit was still very snug. When I got them I thought I would have to send them back. My toes weren't close to the front of the sandal due to the tight straps. However, wearing them has allowed the wearers to adjust and they are very comfortable to wear.
