It is very difficult to divide a cake or tart into 14 equal pieces so this marker is invaluable to me. My pastry chef can touch it, but since I only make it on her weekends, I need help. It's not a cutter, but it marks the top so you can cut straight with a knife. It's made of plastic, but it's pretty durable if you take care of it. Cutting out 16 pieces is pretty easy, but if you just want to mark the top so you can cut one piece at a time and have them all the same size, this is your tool.
