Edit April 9, 2020: A buckle no longer holds the belt and a belt has a broken ratchet making it impossible to remove the belt without buckling the buckle remove while it is still on. I know it's too late to return them and I just need to replace one. unless I have the same problem with the remaining brown belt and black buckle. Maybe I'll try another manufacturer. On January 29th, 2020 I finally bit the bullet and found a ratchet strap that felt wide enough and adjustable enough to suit my needs. The only way to find a belt that would fit me was with an adjustable belt, in this case adjusted by cutting almost six inches to fit my medium waist size. I like the belt. I like the buckle. What I don't like is that the ratchet closure isn't long enough and the strap often just pops off. I haven't found a solution either. If necessary, tap from above with a small hammer. Would I buy it again? I really do not know it. It sure costs $15 for two straps, but what a headache when they pop.
