I ended up sending this one back. The default screen brightness is very dim and the physical interface required to set it up is very clunky. Since there is no battery to save your preferred settings, the default value is important. In addition, the quality of the connections meant that the monitor often lost the signal and immediately reverted to the factory settings. After several hours of constant interruptions and excitement, it was unbearable. 4k is good but I found the scaling on the screen was so small that I worked more at 1080p anyway. I ended up replacing it with a Viewsonic touchscreen and was very happy with this model.
