Summary: Great improvements for a great camera! One of the most successful GoPro releases to date! Pros: 1.) The front screen is amazing and offers multiple options! You can turn it off completely! Switch to the classic type mode that only shows your mode settings! Have it in widescreen or fullscreen! The screen works well and allows you to take a selfie or film yourself! 2.) Software: The built in software is way better than previous GoPro models! I haven't frozen the camera yet! It offers some features that most older versions of GoPro don't have, and it's a lot easier to navigate! 3.) Longer battery life: The larger test offers significantly longer battery life 4.) Integrated mounting pins, just like 8. Love them, no case or holder required 5.) 5K looks amazing! 6.) Makes photos MUCH better! 7.) Hypersmooth just keeps getting better! 8.) I know the camera itself is a bit bigger, but it feels good in your hand and actually easier to hold! 9.) The webcam mode is great (you need to subscribe to the beta for this on Windows). Webcam mode works with Zoom and other popular meeting software10.) The built-in slow motion feature is amazing! A nice quick way to get slow motion footage in a world where people want to share them right away! not in my 7, love the ability to save custom settings in shooting modes! Do you like fine adjustments? Save them as a gift! 13.) Voice control seems to have been improved 14.) Camera always seems to be faster than previous models 15.) Carrying case included and the reason is less packaging waste! I love both the reason and the free case! Cons: 1.) Old batteries won't fit, but new batteries are a big improvement! 2.) Mods are not yet widely available (at the time of this review) Conclusion: I'm still playing with this new toy, but so far the best GoPro yet!
