great product/price

not very often I feel like I got a fair deal for my money. However, I was very surprised by this product. I bought it on a whim, not expecting it to work. My first impression was a solid construction. very durable plastic. The flexible neck is thick and strong and will not move even when holding the heaviest device. I was pretty sure it wouldn't fit well in my 2010 Honda fit. The cup holders are all slightly oddly shaped. one was small. the other was very large and very narrow. the other was rectangular rather than round. It turns out that it is firmly connected to everyone. Appearance of the ratchet device holder. It has pads on the sides to hold the device and two small latches that fold in to hold the bottom. The side pads continue to expand vertically to adjust the position of the device. generally ingeniously flexible in terms of the number of configuration options. This is important given that your device may have controls on the sides and ports on the bottom. As far as I can tell, it fits almost every device I can think of. I have a Nexus that is very close to the size of an iPhone 3GS. a note on price/purchase options. I paid โ‚ฌ15.22 for it. Searching the Nexus One section, I found the same Bracketron unit for $26.99 (plus shipping) from another seller. big difference. there is another brand, "gomadic". They have a block which, as far as I can tell, is identical to this model (Bracketron). However, it costs $29.99. EDIT: 2 years later and I'm back to buy another one. The plastic handle on the side broke off, but overall I'm dissatisfied. I literally flipped my phone back and forth every time I drove, which is multiple times a day. high reputation. EDIT 3: A few weeks after purchasing my second mount, the ratchet broke rendering it unusable. EDIT 4: After enduring a broken ratchet for about 1.5 years, I'm on my 3rd now. No problem this time.
