Nothing special, but the price is right, the picture is right and it's perfectly warm. I bought this over a long sleeve shirt and there is still room for a light jacket. The color is rich, the stitching is precise, and it's thin enough to offer good warmth. It extends to the top of my jean pockets, about 5 inches below my belly button. The collar is about mid-ear but can be easily pulled down. It's hard to get too excited about the underlying warmth, but it's a lot.
