We bought these for a Halloween party to cut out paper crafts and try to recycle for future use. Also with the idea that guests can eat from their plates while standing and do not have to worry about stacking the plates. The plates were durable and easy to clean with dish soap and a sponge. Looked like new! The design on the plates might get a little scratched if you cut food on them, but nothing that would make it totally unusable. I would say with that in mind - the plates can be reused at least 3-4 times with Halloween logos on them. After that, the design will likely be too scratched to look pretty. But you can still use them as regular black plates for Halloween or New Years Eve. Great alternative to paper plates.
