When I received the cartridge, the instructions said it had two orange rings, one on each end. They said you had to remove those rings, but at the time there was only one ring on the cartridge. I found the other one had already fallen off in the package. I wrote to the company (they give their email address for questions) and they immediately replied that this would not affect the powder in the cartridge. I had no problems with the cartridge. Ease of installation and print quality is exactly the same as a Canon cartridge for a quarter the price of one branded cartridge instead of two. The company also said if I have any additional questions or concerns they would contact them. Very happy with this company and their product will use them again.
