Tested it with a 12 volt battery before installing it. looked at work with no problems. Then I installed the device and then it goes crazy. The left turn signal flashes. The right side flashes, then the left side flashes. Stop signal does not work. I then returned with a test lamp and checked the leads where the wires enter the sealed end of the strip. Test light works perfectly. Then I reconnected. The same crap. I sit down and check the brakes. I start the truck and the trailer is connected. I slammed on the brakes and the trailer broke free. It is not good to order this product from someone. The good thing is that they are bright when they work. I plan to use it as an LED flashlight somewhere. Just not on my truck. Keep searching for the best product.
