Finally! After all the stuff I had to send back, the portable/desktop radio I was looking for! Surprisingly heavy (I thought it had batteries in it) and well built for today's plastic, it's built like a tank by today's standards. Stands up with no problem, strong. Again by today's standards. To treat well. Stable climate fork. Plugged in straight away and sounds loud and surprisingly full unless you're a basshead, not a Tivoli, but compares really well to everything else (big radios positively screeching). And tune in to my classic station, which some radios can't easily reach, without interference, without pulling out the well-designed and well-made antenna. It's a familiar experience that you remember despite modern plastics. Would you like the dial to be completely white? I'm so happy I bought this, mostly by accident after following a video link to another product. I've never heard of this brand, but I'm an instant fan! After replacing a wooden tabletop radio I bought it and was afraid it was a fire hazard so I returned it. Good thing for Revain's extended return policy! I'm so happy I bought this! Personally, I like the surround/off wheels too. I bought Allmax 'D' batteries just for this!
