Review on Fellowes 10MC: Advanced 10-Sheet Micro-Cut Paper Shredder for Home and Office by Cris Drew

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Good car but not for me. . .

I bought the FELLOWES 62MC to replace the FELLOWES SHREDDER which has been my workhorse in my home office for many years. Two reasons: * The 62MC's PAPER SLOT is much narrower than my old machine's paper slot, and the area around the PAPER SLOT is not inclined towards the SLOTS. This means that the PAPER fed to this SHREDDER must be carefully placed in the SLOT. That was not the case with my old FELLOWES, nor with the BONSAII C118-C, which replaced the 62C. The first three pictures in this report illustrate this difference* The 62C's POWER CORD was in an awkward location where the GRINDER is located in my office. The location of the power cord on the C118-C is much better for this location. This is shown in the 2nd, 3rd and 4th pictures of this review. The 62C was very well packaged for transport and had some handy controls and locks in case children might be within reach of the SHREDDER. The 62C was also a very quiet machine and produced very fine grinds. If your location is suitable for a 62C and you don't mind the hassle and attention required to get your papers into the slot, this should make a very good shredder. I've added a fifth picture showing the outline of C118-C leading the PAPER to the PAPER SLOT. I hope this information helps.
