I have replaced my original Moen shower head which was standard when my house was built 5 years ago. We have hard water and need to clean our faucets/shower heads from time to time. This seriously affected the water pressure over time and the small silicone spouts on our shower head gradually began to fail. Since we cannot install a water softener, I looked for another solution for a more comfortable shower at home. After the holiday we decided not to use the old shower head and go out in the rain. So far this showerhead has been worth every penny. The pressure of the soul is up. The big difference is that there are many silicone spouts and more water pressure (without a restrictor). We also found that we didn't have to turn the knob too hard to activate the hot water. I'm not sure how it happened, but the grip itself seems tighter due to the pressure going through the tubes. Be sure to take note of this and make sure it's not too aggressive for our install, but so far it seems good and not overly pushy. Halves the shower time. Now I can get my hair wet much faster which is a big plus when it comes to shampoo and conditioner for long hair. Since the water jet is wider than a normal shower head, we were able to lather and rinse our whole body much faster. Installation was as easy as unscrewing the old one and screwing on the new one. As our shower head is quite high on the wall we decided there was no need to buy an extension for a full vertical shower. The beam angle works flawlessly and can reach far enough for our needs. By the way, the shower head really shines silver, almost like a mirror. We weren't expecting this, but because our shower head plugs in without an extension cord and sits at an angle, we can see our faces as we look at the water. I know what you're thinking. it's kind of awkward. BUT we have found that a clear reflection is helpful for removing makeup (when washing my face) and shaving my face (for my husband). Again surprisingly we found this to be very useful for multitasking personal care in the shower!
