Baggy leggings, not really an endless scarf

This is not what I expected from an endless scarf - ie. it is not long enough to make a double loop around the neck. It's more like oversized gaiters, too loose to provide much warmth, although they can be pulled over the head like a loose hood. Maybe that would be a nice warm wrap for a very young child.
