I am a discerning customer - I pay attention to the appearance of materials, build quality and features, overall design aesthetics, etc. This bag exceeded all my expectations. The skin is extraordinary - thick, smooth, well stitched, simply beautiful. The fittings appear to be solid brass, heavy, comfortably built. The bag looks great overall. When I took it out of the box, my wife and I's first reaction was "Wow!". There are nice little personal touches too - the included wax sealed note etc. The clasps/seals for the front flap require that the bag is not overstuffed and that the flap can reach it easily. and they are e.g. B. not so easy to open on the go. In a previous bag I had a flap with no clasps and it was easier to slip something like a document in without removing the bag and putting it on a table or something. but it's actually a pretty minor issue and if I had known about it beforehand, it wouldn't have changed my purchasing decision. I highly recommend.
